For users and contractors based in the Philippines, relevant provisions of Philippine law — including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), the E-Commerce Act (Republic Act No. 8792), and applicable labor regulations — shall also apply to the extent required.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), or, for Philippine-based users, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of 2004 (Republic Act No. 9285).
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GlobalTechVAs regarding your use of the Site and Services, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
